Who (or what) is Silver Chestnut?
Silver Chestnut is a Yorkshire based jewellery business. All the items are designed and handmade by me. I mainly use silver, but I sometimes use other materials, such as copper and semi-precious stones.
What's in a name?
It took me quite a while to choose a name, and even involved having a vote on my short list by my regular customers. I wanted a name that firstly reflected the use silver in my jewellery and secondly conjured the idea of nature. Most of my inspiration comes from nature. I particularly like leaves and plants. The combination of these came to Silver Chestnut.
